Oscar season is now officially upon us. Earlier today, the list of nominees for the 83rd annual Academy Awards were announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. With so much buzz already circulating about potential winners — especially after last week's Golden Globes — many of the 2011 nominations come as no surprise. Leading the pack with 12 nominations is "The King's Speech," followed by "True Grit" with 10 (a BIG congratulations to 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld for her best supporting actress nod) and then sci-fi mind bender "Inception" and "The Social Network," both up for 8.
