All of these rare birds collected in the unique Bird Zoo in
Singapore. The birds live here in large indoor enclosures, which is
managed through a special gateway visitors, so watch for strange bird
you can not through the lattice….
(44 Images)
1. Here are a couple of names of birds, which I photographed in Singapore Birds Park – Kitoglav, African Marabou, Steller's sea eagle, black palm
cockatoo and many more …
2.
3. Examination of the park begins with a penguin.
4. Further there are several cages with parrots.
5.
6.
7. Buy a jar of clover and feed the parrots in hand.
8. They are absolutely arrogant here , they sit on your shoulders and get on your hands – not afraid of anything
9.
10.
11.
12.
13.
14. In a separate air-conditioned building you can see all conceivable owls and owls of the planet.
15. Scarlet ibises. This is some kind of bloody madness. They escorted the
crowd every visitor who passes by their cage, its like the size of a
volleyball court.
16.
17.
18. I do not know who it is.
19. The same Veeronosny crowned pigeon. They are good in size of it with a good partridge.
20. "The yellow sparrow" (do not know how this bird is called)
21. Some of the birds in the aviary is not allowed, and they had to shoot
through the bars, like this Steller's sea eagle. By the way, he lives on the Kamchatka Peninsula and is one of the worst Eagles.
22. Palm of the black cockatoo
23. A huge aviary and ostriches
24.
25.
26.
27. Shlemonosny cassowary – a large flightless bird. He lives in New Guinea. Translated from Indonesian means "horned head"
28. Pelicans
29. Here is the whole lake and they love it..
30.
31. From the side like a decent bird.
32. But if they open their mouths … That would be a "basket" Medcom scoop.
33. African marabou – the bird-Carrion. Eat meat of dead animals. Found only in Africa.
34.
35. Flamingo
36.
37. Pink Flamingos.
38.
39.
40.
41. And finally, the bird, who made the greatest impression on me – kitoglav royal heron.
42. Tropical swamps of East Africa, where lungfishes are found . This
wooden shoe bill makes kitoglava skilful master of fishing.
43. What a sight!
44.

Stacey Lee Webber – artist from Philadelphia, who creates amazing
masterpieces from simple … coins! Stacey herself says that she "comes
from generations of workers, people who worked in the corn fields, the
printing presses, to trucks and construction sites. I appreciate the
physical labor and I am proud that I can follow in the footsteps of
those workaholic, using the work of their hands every day. I create
objects from coins, which are the symbols of American workers. Take a
look at some coin – they are full of scratches, abrasions, traces of old and "worn" Abraham Lincoln, and all this shows is that these coins have gone through thousands of hands. As a result, when such coins are
merged into a single work of art, they give the product of history and
atmosphere of triumph. "

Insano - The tallest water slide on Earth is located inside Beach Park, a tourist complex in Fortaleza, Brazil, this 14-story water slide was built in 1989 and still holds the record as the tallest water slide which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records. It only takes a few
seconds to slide down, plenty of time for your heart to end up in your
throat. The highest of this water slide is 41 meters high.
As a consequence of its height and slope, this water slide provides an
extremely rapid descent - taking between four and five seconds - at a
speed of 105 km/h. Because of these characteristics, the Insano is
considered the most extreme of this type of equipment on the planet. At the end of the track, the Insano provides you with a
relaxing dive into the swimming pool. If you are feeling bold and want
to live life on the edge then give Insano a whirl...

Nature doesn't need an audience. These wonderful orchids come from the
south-eastern Ecuadorian and Peruvian cloud forests from elevations of
1000 to 2000 meters and as such not many people throughout history got
to see them. However, thanks to intrepid collectors we do get to see
this wonderful Monkey Orchid. Someone didn't need much imagination to name it though.
Its scientific name is Dracula simia, the last part nodding
towards the fact that this remarkable orchid bears more than a passing
resemblance to a monkey's face although we won't go as far as to be
species specific on this one. The Dracula (genus) part of its name
refers to the strange characteristic of the two long spurs of the
sepals, reminiscent of the fangs of a certain Transylvanian count of
film and fiction fame.
The orchid was only named in 1978 by the botanist Luer but is in a
family containing over 120 species mostly found in Ecuador. Up in the
cloud mountains the monkey orchid can flower at any time it is not
season specific. It scent resembles that of a ripe orange.
The examples seen here are all cultivated though it remains very rare in 'captivity'. For that reason don't make a dash down to
your local horticulturalist. Yet for those lucky enough to have one, if
kept quite cool and in partial shade and it can thrive and flower. Like
all orchids, however, it needs a lot of care and patience so you may
want to consider a cactus instead!
"If you don't quite see why this orchid gets its name, then do one
thing. Move back from your screen a few feet and take another look.
Close up the similarity is good, from a distance it is astounding."

Gorky Park in Moscow, opened the painting "The Awakening" created with coffee beans by Arcadia Kim, a Russian artist and sculptor. The piece features 1 million coffee beans, weighs 397 pounds and spans 30 square meters., which is a new world record for a painting from coffee beans. Each
grain is glued and it took almost two weeks to complete. The giant
mosaic, created by Russian artist Arkadi Kim, beats the previous record, created by Albanian artist Saimir Strati by 88 pounds and 5 square
meters. Now take a look at some photos of this gigantic art...
