like the white petals of lovely rose..
I thought it was all so new..
like a bird learning to fly..
I thought it was all so cute..
Like a girl blushing at her groom..
I thought it was all so sweet..
like a mother being happy wit her child..
I thought it was the best of all..
To be in love with a guy like U...
But all my thoughts were just meant to b in my mind..
& in reality I had..was a life without U..

A strange confusion

AMERICAN CULTURE weird culture See how the life in America can be
confusing sometimes!
Many, many years ago
When I was twenty-three,
I got married to a widow,
Pretty as could be.
This widow had a grown-up daughter With flowing hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.
This made my dad my son-in-law And changed my very life.
Now my daughter was my mother, For she was my father's wife.
To complicate the matters worse, Although it brought me joy.
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.
My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.
For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother to the widow's grown-up-daughter
Who, of course, was my stepmother. CONFUSED???!!!.. Relax... Go
ahead..
Father's wife then had a son,
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son,
My wife is now my mother's mother And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife, She is my grandma too.
If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.
For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw. As the husband of my
grandmother, I am my own grandpa!

PLANNING AHEAD

The best gift is a planner.
You like planners because you are a planner.
You like thinking ahead.
You like being prepared.
You like being on top of things.

But some things are beyond planning.
And life doesn't always turn out as planned.

You don't plan for a broken heart.
You don't plan for a failed business venture.
You don't plan for an adulterous husband.
Or a wife who wants you out of her life.
You don't plan for an autistic child.
You don't plan for spinsterhood.
You don't plan for a lump in your breast.

You plan to be young forever.
You plan to climb the corporate ladder.
You plan to be rich and powerful.
You plan to be acclaimed and successful.
You plan to conquer the universe.
You plan to fall in love - and be loved forever.

You don't plan to be sad.
You don't plan to be hurt.
You don't plan to be broke.
You don't plan to be betrayed.
You don't plan to be alone in this world
You plan to be happy.
You don't plan to be shattered.

Sometimes if you work hard enough, you can get what you want.
But most times, what you want and what you get are two different things.

We, mortals, plan.
But so does God in heaven.
Sometimes, it is difficult to understand God's plans especially when His plans are not in consonance with ours.
Often, when God sends us crisis, we turn to Him in anger.
True, we cannot choose the cross that God wishes us to carry,
but we can carry that cross with courage knowing that God will never
abandon us nor send something we cannot cope with.

Sometimes, God breaks our spirit to save our soul.
Sometimes, He breaks our heart to make us whole.
Sometimes, God sends us pain so we can be stronger.
Sometimes, God sends us failure so we can be humble.
Sometimes God sends us illness so we can take better care of ourselves.
Sometimes, God takes everything away from us so we can learn the
value of everything He gave us.

Make plans but understand that we live by God's grace.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
